How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected on the one hand by you providing it to us (e.g. by entering it into a contact form). Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page request).

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by All-Inkl.com. The host automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security and functionality of the website).

3. Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the website. In addition, we use analytics cookies from Google Analytics (see section 4) – but only after your explicit consent given via our cookie notice.

You can withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.

4. Web analytics

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics helps us to statistically evaluate the use of our website and thereby improve it.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated is generally transmitted to and processed on Google servers. In Google Analytics 4, IP anonymization is enabled by default; your IP address is truncated by Google and is not stored permanently.

Google Analytics is used exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Processing only begins after you have given your consent via our cookie notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your cookie settings.

When using Google Analytics, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. This transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision; Google is certified under this framework. In addition, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google.

Usage counting of our online calculators

Our interactive calculators (e.g. the conveyor belt calculator and the sidewall belt designer) count on the server how often a calculation is performed. This counting serves solely to internally assess tool usage and to protect against automated misuse.

To estimate returning users, your IP address is processed exclusively in pseudonymized form: it is combined with a secret key into a non-reversible hash value. The plain-text IP address is not stored in the process. This pseudonymous value is retained for a maximum of 30 days and is then automatically deleted.

No merging with other data sources, no cross-site tracking and no profiling take place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in usage measurement and the prevention of misuse).

5. Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our forms (in particular the newsletter sign-up form) against automated entries and spam, we use the "reCAPTCHA" service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

reCAPTCHA analyzes various information (including the IP address, dwell time and user behavior) to determine whether an entry is made by a human or an automated program. In doing so, data may be transmitted to and processed by Google, where applicable also by Google LLC in the USA, based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, email address) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request.

We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures.
